Dan Tilley has just released his second book, and it is on Amazon/Kindle Books. It is called "Home Run In The Last Game Of The Season." It recounts Dan's little league years while living in Florida in the late 1960's. Dan writes and illustrates this endearing tale about youth, friendship, and family. Hi folks, Dan Tilley here. I am pleased to announce the publication of my third book- release which is also available on Amazon. It's called Chairish The Love. Along with writing the story, I illustrate the book as well. It recounts my teaching experiences over the years in New Mexico. The main characters are chairs who discuss student issues after the teachers have left for the weekend. The chairs realize that life is messy, especially for middle school students and their families. Committee, Arm, and a room full of other chairs voice concerns that students, teachers, and parents face everyday. Vacuum and the closet crew want messes cleaned up fast without any empathy. However, Freddie, a fly on the wall, and the office insects have the principal's ear. So sit back, in your favorite chair of course, and enjoy this heartwarming story and cherish the love, friendship, and drama in a high-desert setting. 

Football Stories and Other Plays is my fourth published book. The story begins with my family's move back to New York in the early 1970's (from Florida) because my father's job changed from rockets to fighter planes. We kids enrolled in schools, especially us younger kids, with very different classroom cultures. But kids are amazing and resilient! Little league and school sports helped immensely. But wins and losses don't just happen on the athletic field. Young lives are like plays with all the drama, tragedy, wonder, and excitement with many days resembling "Opening Night."  Former foes can become allies  you share precious times with. Family, friends, coaches, and  teammates become characters on and off the field who help guide us in victory and defeat. I hope you enjoy reading the book and viewing the colorful illustrations that depict those memories never to be forgotten.
